The base for our loose leaf Lapsang Souchong tea is 1^st grade black tea from Hunan. Pinewood is sued for the smoking and the scenting process takes 168 hours. During the whole process the fire is not in contact with the tea. After the smoke scenting, another round of roasting is done to raise the flavor and lower the humidity.

A very distinctive tea from China with a smokey aroma complimenting the natural taste of the black tea.
