Lapsang Souchong

The base for our loose leaf Lapsang Souchong tea is 1^st grade black tea from Hunan. Pinewood is used for the smoking and the scenting process which takes 168 hours. During the whole process the fire is not in contact with the tea. After the smoke scenting, another round of roasting is done to raise the flavour and lower the humidity.

A very distinctive tea from China with a smoky aroma complimenting the natural taste of the black tea.
